6 Questions to Ask Before You Hire an AI Consultant
Hiring an AI consultant is one of the bigger calls a business owner makes this year. The tools are easy to buy. Getting them working safely inside your business is not.

The question that matters most
The first one. AI runs on your client files, finances and staff records. And from 10 December 2026, businesses covered by the Privacy Act must explain in their privacy policy when software makes, or is a key factor in, decisions that could significantly affect a person. A consultant who can't tell you which country your data sits in isn't ready to handle it.
